Fuel Supply

Fuel supply components deliver fuel from the tank to the engine, maintaining consistent pressure and volume for optimal combustion. This system includes the fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel lines, and fuel injectors/rails. Modern systems utilize electric fuel pumps, often integrated into the fuel tank, controlled by the engine control unit (ECU). Fuel filters remove contaminants, protecting sensitive downstream components. High-pressure fuel rails and electronically controlled injectors precisely meter fuel delivery based on engine demand, ensuring efficient operation and emissions control.
