Suspension Air Bags

Suspension air bags, also known as air springs, replace traditional steel coil springs to provide adjustable ride height and load leveling. Typically used on rear or full air suspension systems in trucks, SUVs, and some passenger vehicles, they utilize compressed air to support vehicle weight. These flexible, reinforced rubber bellows offer progressive spring rates, enhancing ride comfort and handling. Internal piston designs regulate air volume and maintain consistent spring characteristics. System functionality relies on an onboard air compressor, height sensors, and an electronic control module for automatic leveling and adjustment.
