Temperature Sensor

Temperature sensors monitor the thermal state of various vehicle systems, including engine coolant, intake air, oil, and exhaust gases. These sensors are typically constructed with a thermistor or semiconductor junction, producing a voltage or resistance output inversely proportional to temperature. Data is transmitted to the Engine Control Unit (ECU), enabling adjustments to fuel delivery, ignition timing, and cooling fan operation.
