Fog Light

Fog lights are auxiliary lighting devices mounted low on the front of a vehicle, and sometimes rearward, to improve visibility in reduced-visibility conditions like fog, snow, or dust. These lights utilize low-mounted positioning and a wide, flat beam pattern to minimize glare and light reflection off water droplets or particulates. Housings are typically constructed of durable polymers or metal, and utilize either halogen, LED, or HID bulb technologies. Modern fog lights often integrate with the vehicle’s electrical system and may be switchable or automatically activated with other lighting features. Proper beam alignment is critical for functionality and to avoid interfering with oncoming traffic.
